Responding Generously to Nicaragua's Hospitality

The developers of Montecristo have "adopted" the town of El Transito and initiated projects to help raise the standard of living among the local population. They are donating building materials, providing educational opportunities, sponsoring youth programs and encouraging business, thus making a significant contribution to the local culture and economy. A medical doctor was recently hired to visit the community three times a week and a campaign started to fix the roofs of homes in the community.
